Bust out your best "Single Ladies" dance moves -- September 4 is Beyonce Day.

Today marks the 32nd birthday of the celebrated singer who was born on Sept. 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. Beyonce rose to fame with the girl group Destiny's Child, releasing four hit studio albums with the group and winning Grammy awards for singles such as "Say My Name" and "Survivor." In the years since Destiny's Child's hiatus, Beyonce has gone on to lead a highly successful solo career, marry rapper Jay-Z and give birth to her first child, Blue Ivy Carter, and expand her empire to films and fashion.
