'Covert Affairs': Auggie Finds Himself On The Wrong Side Of A Pair Of Handcuffs (VIDEO)

Auggie In Handcuffs On 'Covert Affairs'?!

All those unauthorized missions Auggie and Annie were going on to uncover information about Henry Wilcox began to raise suspicions on "Covert Affairs." Particularly, Calder grew suspicious, and so he brought in a CIA sweep team to investigate the couple. This proved unfortunate for Auggie.

Calder uncovered a flash drive in Auggie's safe, which is technically stolen evidence from the FBI investigation into Agent Seth Newman's death. While Auggie might be able to explain why he has this to Calder's satisfaction, it doesn't look like that's going to be easy.

“There will be lawyers, arrests and trials to be sure," Calder told him. "But for now, you’re going to come with me. We’re going to have a little chat.” It certainly sounds like Calder has ambitions to make a huge spectacle of uncovering a scandal.

TV Equals' Michelle Carlbert said that she was left on the edge of her seat. "Auggie being led away in handcuffs is not how I expected the episode to end and now I will be waiting anxiously to find out how they will get him out of this mess, as well as take down Henry,” she wrote. But TV Fanatic's Carla Day thinks this might turn out to be a good development. Or at least an unexpected opportunity.

“With Auggie being questioned, it would be the perfect time for them to test Calder," wrote Day. "They don't have to share everything with him ... [but] they might as well share that they were investigating a connection between Henry and the ALC terrorists.”

See how Auggie and Annie handle this new predicament as "Covert Affairs" continues on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on USA.
