This Is NOT Your Average High School Art Project

A very cool high school art teacher took to Reddit on Wednesday to share a class project you have to see to believe. From scratch, students at the school re-created a full-sized Chinese footbridge from the year 1000. All they had for guidance was an illustration on an ancient scroll and their imaginations.

See below for the incredible finished product, as well as a detailed photo-guide outlining the project step-by-step by their proud teacher.

And for added cool points: Since it went up, the bridge has apparently become a lunchtime hangout spot.
