Jonathan Adler And Simon Doonan Show Off Their New York City Apartment In Lonny Magazine (PHOTOS)

Inside Jonathan Adler & Simon Doonan's Psychedelic Home

We've been in awe of Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan's Shelter Island, New York home for quite some time, but it looks like that abode has some serious competition. In the September issue of Lonny magazine, we're getting a sneak peek inside the couple's amazing Greenwich Village apartment, and we have to say, it's our new favorite space.

Not surprisingly, the 2,500-square-foot duplex has Adler written all over it. The white walls throughout the home highlight the vibrant yellow, orange, red and turquoise furniture. The offbeat paintings, paisley-painted Ping Pong table and funky brass accessories definitely give the home a psychedelic feeling that we're used to seeing from him. "We only have stuff that really speaks to us -- whether it's a baroque mirror or a vintage Chinese cabinet with a mod fabric," Adler said.

Luckily, Doonan shares his love for eccentric designs. He admits that most of the things in the apartment were placed there by Adler and he's perfectly fine with letting him run the interior designer portion of things. "This is Jonathan's canvas, his vision for how people should live," Doonan said. "There are a few things that are mine from over the years, but basically the apartment is his design, and that's how it should be."

Aww.

Scroll through the photos to see this fabulous space, and be sure to head over to Lonny for more information.
