After Novak Djokovic broke him to take a two-game lead in the fourth set of their U.S. Open semifinal match, Stanislas Wawrinka decided to break his racquet.
Wawrinka was clinging to a 2-1 set lead when he hit a backhanded shot right into the net, tying the third game of the fourth set at 15. The No. 9 seed immediately slammed his racquet against the ground, then did it again as he walked toward the bench. Before grabbing a new one, he did a little more damage and broke it over his knee.
Djokovic went on to win the fourth set and eventually book a spot in the final.
