We're not sure where we'd be without salsa, but we suspect our game days would be much less exciting, our pre-taco stomachs much emptier, and our tortilla chips sad and lonely. A world without salsa verde or pico de gallo would be a bleak and drab existence. Thankfully, that's not the world we live in. Rather, there are an endless number of salsas for any and every occasion.
Mango, avocado, strawberries, tomatillos, you can turn all of those fruits into salsa. Actually, you should. Not just for dipping tortilla chips either -- though there should be a lot of that happening -- but for adding to tacos, as a complement to grilled meats and well, on top of everything really.
