Jon Stewart Blasts 'Unreasonable' And 'Insane' Syria Arguments

On Monday, Jon Stewart expressed the frustration and confusion we've all been feeling when it comes to a potential war with Syria. While thoughtful arguments on either side of the debate do exist, they're often overshadowed by the less-than-nuanced ones.

As Stewart explained, "Obviously, this is a difficult and complicated topic and reasonable people can reach different conclusions for completely defensible reasons, OR you can watch cable television where unreasonable people reach different conclusions for insane reasons."

He went on to show clips of "Fox And Friends" anchors getting smacked by John McCain, a particularly glib call to war on NBC's "Meet The Press" by former U.S. Representative Jane Harman, and Nancy Pelosi invoking the uninformed words of her five-year-old grandson only to give him nightmares for the rest of his life.
