Chris Matthews on Obama's Syria speech:
"He didn't draw the connection between our punitive attack, which is what he's talking about, which would, if large enough to create the kind of damage he's talked about tonight, would kill a lot of people ... the only way to stop the use of chemical weapons is an international norm, which has to be pursued—I know it sounds retro—but through the United Nations, not through a unilateral attack which is just going to kill more people, this attack, if it's as big as he says, as were killed by Assad using chemical weapons. We're going to kill a lot of people if this is as big a bang as he promised."
