Upload A Photo Of Your Child, Instantly Help Keep Moms and Babies Healthy Around The World

Have a special child in your life? Want to help save the lives of countless others?

Later this month, the UN General Assembly will be meeting to talk about the Millennium Development Goals, a collection of humanitarian initiatives that target the world's poorest people. So in an effort to promote the initiatives surrounding Global Motherhood, we've partnered with Johnson & Johnson to collect photos that represent our hopes and dreams for moms and babies around the world.

For every photo submitted through their Donate A Photo app, Johnson & Johnson will donate $1 to a non-profit of your choice that supports women and children in the developing world.

Here's how you can help:

Step 1: Click here to download the free Donate A Photo app on your iPhone or Android phone.
Step 2: Upload a photo of a special child in your life.
Step 3: Help raise awareness about your chosen cause by tweeting the photo and your hopes for the next generation through the app. Include the hashtag #globalmom to be added to our slideshow.

(If you don't have a smartphone or a Twitter account, you can email your photo and inspirational sentiment to us at globalmotherhood@huffingtonpost.com).

Donate A Photo And Save Lives

Donate A Photo is a new free app from Johnson & Johnson. Johnson & Johnson has curated a list of trusted causes, and you can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. Each cause will appear in the app until it reaches its goal, or until the donation period ends. If the goal isn't reached, the cause will still get a minimum donation. From now until October, Johnson & Johnson will engage the global community to continue to share photos that represent what we can do in order to better support the future of women and children around the world.

All photos shared through the Donate a Photo app will become part of the Donate a Photo gallery. While your photos may be used to raise awareness for Donate a Photo, they will never be used to promote any products or for any other commercial purpose.
