YouTube personality Ann Reardon, who produces the web series "How To Cook That," recently caught our attention with an absolutely jaw-dropping Instagram cake.

In the above video, Reardon walks us through the exhaustive process of building the dessert. Its construction requires the preparation of a bunch of different elements, including two different types of chocolate mousse, a chocolate glaze and several different-colored gelatins. The cake certainly takes awhile to make, but the results are impressive!

Reardon's creation reminds us of another creatively-constructed cake: the Mondrian cake by pastry chef Caitlin Freeman for the Blue Bottle Cafe at San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art.
