The American Family Association's Bryan Fischer decried the controversial shuttering of an Oregon bakery after its owners refused to prepare a wedding cake for a lesbian couple.

Fischer, whose anti-gay declarations have become a near-weekly staple of his "Focal Point" radio show, compared the Sweet Cakes by Melissa case to that of Phillip Monk, a U.S. Air Force veteran who claims he was punished by a superior over his same-sex marriage views, Right Wing Watch first reported.

"That bakery couple in Oregon had their bakery completely shut down by a homosexual mob, a homosexual mafia," he said. "They cried ‘Homo-Akbar!’ and assaulted...they stormed, metaphorically, the bakery and got it completely shut down.”

He went on to slam President Barack Obama's stance on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community: "We have a commander-in-chief who has made it a criminal offense to be a sincerely devoted follower of Jesus Christ in the U.S. military."

Unfortunately, Fischer's latest remarks come as no surprise. Last month, he argued in defense of San Antonio Councilwoman Elisa Chan, who sparked controversy with remarks she made the gay community, saying that "anyone who is thinking rightly and clearly about homosexuality" would agree with the official's stance.

"I would guarantee you 90 percent of the American people, if they would stop and think about what actually happens in homosexual sexual behavior, they would find it disgusting," Fischer said at the time.

The pastor, identified on YouTube as Charles L. Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, N.C., condemns President Obama's much-publicized endorsement of same-sex marriage while calling for gays and lesbians to be put in an electrified pen and ultimately killed off. "Build a great, big, large fence -- 150 or 100 mile long -- put all the lesbians in there," Worley suggests in the clip, reportedly filmed on May 13. "Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can't get out...and you know what, in a few years, they'll die out...do you know why? They can't reproduce!"

"For 300 years, we had laws that would prosecute that lifestyle," he is quoted as saying. "We've gone down the wrong path. We've become so dumb that we have accepted a lie for the truth, and we've...discarded the truth on the shoals of shipwreck!"
