Wife Flirting With Other Men Is OK, Says Husband (VIDEO)

Why I Gave My Wife Permission To Flirt With Other Men

A wandering eye can get married people in trouble, but what if your spouse encouraged you to flirt?

That's exactly what happened to Georgia Lowe, who wrote a blog post about getting her husband's permission to be flirtatious with other men. The Lowes joined HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker to discuss their unique arrangement.

Georgia's husband Lance Lowe said he thinks flirting is completely healthy as long as everyone is clear that it must stay innocent.

"I'm certainly not talking about leading somebody on or looking to hook up with somebody, but as long as it stays in the area of casual or harmless flirting, I don't see a real problem with it," he said. "I think it's enjoyable, it's fun, it's always sort of nice to meet a new person and see how that's going for a minute."

Clear boundaries are essential for allowing flirting within a relationship. Melissa Chapman, creator of the blog MarriedMySugarDaddy.com, said she has a firm idea of what's acceptable and what isn't.

"My parameter is there is never any touching allowed ever," Chapman said. "You can talk, you can smile, you can exchange witty repartee, but the minute touching gets involved, that's when you're like, 'I'm done.'"
