Chris Harrison Gets Booed At The 2014 Miss America Pageant

Chris Harrison is used to rowdy crowds through is work as host of "The Bachelor" franchise of shows. But he probably didn't expect to receive boos during his hosting duties for the 2014 Miss America Pageant. Nevertheless, the crowd turned on him when he cut off Miss Florida Myrrhanda Jones during her interview response.

He started off as polite as he could, telling Miss Florida that her time was up. When the audience started booing, Harrison said, "It's a timed answer, don’t make me the bad guy.” When more boos came, he embraced it. "Alright I’m the bad guy," he said. "Bring it on.”

He took to Twitter later and wrote that he "loved getting some boos tonight." He joked that maybe it was because he was a Dallas Cowboys fan near Philadelphia -- Eagles territory. The Miss America pageant was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Miss Florida came in as the 3rd runner-up in the competition. Miss New York Nina Davuluri took the crown, becoming the first winner of Indian descent. She was also the second winner in a row from New York.
