Bill Nye the Science Guy took to the dance floor on the Season 17 premiere of "Dancing With the Stars," but his dancing experiment may be short-lived.
Nye danced the Cha-cha-cha to "Weird Science," but his mad scientist-themed set failed to wow judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli.
"It was like being waxed: It was painful while it happened and it was lovely when it was over," Goodman said.
Nye received a total score of 14 out of 30.
"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays, 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
