What happens when you invite one of today’s most celebrated spiritual teachers to offer free advice in a busy public place? "Help Desk," a new special on OWN hosted by Gotham Chopra, sets to find out.
In this first look video, Gotham introduces his world-renowned father and spiritual teacher, Deepak Chopra. Deepak has written more than 75 books on the mind, body and spirit including "Super Brain" and "The Soul of Leadership."
"Since as far back as I can remember, people have been coming to my father, Deepak, seeking all kinds of advice," Gotham says in the video.
"These days, thousands of questions get posted to my dad's social media sites every day," he says. "And although he tries his best, it's nearly impossible for him to address them all. The simple truth is that spiritual advice has way more impact when it's given to real people who have real questions."
In the first episode, Deepak brings his spiritual wisdom to the streets of Manhattan at a "help desk" set up in Madison Square Park and offers his life-changing answers to questions about relationships, health and personal transformation.
Two special half-hour episodes of "Help Desk" will air Sunday, September 22 at 12 p.m. ET following "Super Soul Sunday" on OWN.
