By Joe Lucia, Awful Announcing

We've heard some very bad calls by Yankees broadcaster John Sterling throughout the years, but this one may be his worst. Listen as Sterling calls a largely routine fly out by Alex Rodriguez a home run, then claim he screwed up because he thought right fielder Rajai Davis gave up on the ball. Also, what was that "hit and kicked over" bit about?

Hey John? Not even close, buddy. For the record, Michael Kay's call on the TV broadcast barely moved an octave. This wasn't Sterling's finest moment by any means.
