Miami Book Fair International 2013: Dan Brown And 15 Other Authors You Can't Miss (PHOTOS)

Look Who's Opening The Miami Book Fair International

Earlier this year, Amazon ranked Miami as the third most well-read city in America. It's no wonder then our fair city is home to the Miami Book Fair International -- the nation's largest literary gathering.

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, MBFI has some big plans in store, including seven author readings leading up to the main event.

Beginning September 26, a roster of best-selling authors will host intimate book readings at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus in partnership with Miami's own independent bookstore Books & Books. Expect Nicholas Sparks, Salman Rushdie, and "Eat, Pray, Love" author Elizabeth Gilbert, among other big names.

And then there's Dan Brown, the bestselling author of mystery-thriller novels "The Da Vinci Code" and "The Lost Symbol," who will kick off the fair on November 17th at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center.

Additionally, the eight-day book fair will treat book lovers to a series of "Evening With" author readings. Although the final schedule is not yet complete, click below for a look at the confirmed authors headlining at the 30th annual book fair so far -- and stay tuned for more author and event details.
