NeNe Leakes Denies Plastic Surgery Rumors: 'Honey, I Am Black, And I Don't Need A Facelift'

NeNe Leakes has been dogged by rumors that she's had several plastic surgery procedures on her face, but the "I Dream Of NeNe" star wants to set the record straight that she doesn't need to go under the knife to look fabulous.

Leakes told HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker that the rumors ramped up after she made an appearance during Fashion Week with different makeup and long hair extensions that changed her look.

"I'm thinking, 'A facelift, really?'" Leakes said. "I'm in my early 40s. I don't need a facelift. Honey, I am black, and I don't need a facelift."

That doesn't mean she won't ever change her mind. The "Real Housewives" star added that she isn't opposed to a little face work in her 60s.

"I believe in a nip tuck," she said. "I believe you should always look good or however you feel. Whatever makes you feel great."

And she freely admits that she's had work done before, though it was a little south of her face.

"I don't want breasts that hang down. I want them to say hello," she said. "And I bought them. If I had a facelift, I would say it."
