'America's Got Talent' Finale: Who Won America's Wildest Talent Show? (VIDEO)

Who Won 'America's Got Talent' Season 8?

On "America's Got Talent," it came down to a unique dancer and a comedian. So who did America support? Was it Taylor Williamson or Kenichi Ebina?

Kenichi's jaw dropped when he heard Nick Cannon announce his name as the winner of Season 8. "Oh my God," Kenichi said. "I don’t know what I can tell, but it’s amazing!” Now he can look forward to that headlining show in Las Vegas. We can just imagine the ideas churning through his head already about how to utilize this new opportunity.

The judges were on their feet after Kenichi's victory. They'd been championing Kenichi's unique vision for weeks now. "This is why ‘America’s Got Talent’ is great," said Howard Stern. "We discovered a superstar.”

Over at Buddy TV, Ted Kindig said that America got this one right. "Kenichi really deserved it -- he was the most consistently creative act of the season, and he's exactly what this show is all about," he wrote. "I'm also thrilled to see Taylor do so well -- even if he doesn't get a modest income of 25,000 a year for the next 40 years (as is the prize), this has still been great exposure for him.”

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
