"Hollywood Nights" might sound like a sequel to a late-nineties drama, but it's actually what the Lakers are calling their newest look for 2013.
The Lakers, much like this year's Detroit Pistons, will debut a brand new alternate uniform to be worn on select nights throughout the upcoming season. Instead of royal purple complementing the iconic L.A. gold, the dominant color will be a deep black as a "tribute" to Hollywood, according to Executive VP Jeanie Buss.
