WATCH:The Princess Of Bachata Wants You To 'Be My Baby'

Leslie Grace, the princess of bachata, has released the music video to her latest single, “Be My Baby.” This is her third single from her self-titled album, “Leslie Grace.”

The “Be My Baby” video premiered during the Telemundo show “Al Rojo Vivo” on September 16 and the next day on its sister station, mun2. The video shows off Grace’s dance skills in a choreographed skit by Elizabeth Sky. Veteran music video director Bobby Viera, who has worked with such artists as Pitbull, Alicia Keys and Jon Secada, directed Grace’s video.

Grace performed “Be My Baby” at the 2013 Premios Juventud award show and the 18-year-old delivered a captivating performance.

Her modern-day version of “Be My Baby” includes Spanglish lyrics along with the Dominican rhythms for which Grace is becoming so well known. Her musical style continues to top the charts, allowing people to fall in love with her music one song at a time. The song is currently a top 10 single, taking over radio and climbing up the charts in both the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Leslie Grace’s heritage influences her music

Grace’s talent of mixing classic hits from the ’60s with bachata in both English and Spanish has captured the attention of audiences since she released her first single, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.”

She co-wrote her second single “Day One,” which is about love.

“What we wrote was basically the first time you feel love. It was inspired by the first time I felt God’s love in its purest form,” said Grace in a Latin Gossip interview.

Born in the Bronx to a Dominican family and having grown up in Yonkers, her heritage and musical influence has combined to form something truly unique.

She became the youngest female singer to reach a Latin radio No. 1 spot with her first single. Her album reached the No. 5 position on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart in its third week of being released.
