A new survey by ApartmentGuide found that 80% of people reorganize and clean their homes between summer and fall. Honestly, we usually wait until spring cleaning to get things done, but if you're feeling the need to freshen up for the new season, organization expert Lisa Zaslow was on HuffPost Live and had some great tips.
Zaslow said most people have a hard time keeping their clothes and closets organized (we hear that), but there are a few things you can do to straighten up the place. For starters, get rid of anything you don't use (Zaslow suggests selling what you can). You should also always make everyday items accessible by keeping them on shelves.
