'Project Runway' Contestant Throws Temper Tantrum Over Living Arrangements

With the numbers dwindling on "Project Runway," it was time to consolidate into one living space. This is a rather standard thing to do on a reality show, but they might as well have been telling contestant Ken Laurence that he was going to have to live in a garbage dumpster. He absolutely freaked out.

The show's talent coordinator, and ultimately Tim Gunn, had to come in to try and calm Ken down. Oh, and to make sure the experience was as surreal as possible, Ken had his entire freakout episode while wearing a facial mask.

“It ain’t no f*cking sitting down," Ken said when the talent coordinator tried to get him to sit and talk. "I’m not about to change my living arrangements for no-f*cking-body!”

Gunn told Ken that he clearly had some anger management issues, but the show did agree to move Ken into his own room. It proved to be a temporary solution to a temporary problem, though. Ken was eliminated this week, much to his own relief.

Former contestant Michael Costello wrote about the episode for Hollywood LIfe and said he was glad to see Ken go after that meltdown. "Tantrums should be left to children; get out of the kitchen if you can’t handle the heat," he wrote. "The whole scene is quite comical, its hard to take him seriously when he has a facial beauty mask while yelling his lungs out.”

Perhaps there will be slightly less drama now as "Project Runway" continues, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
