Tim Allen Talks 'Duck Dynasty' Guys On 'Last Man Standing'

Tim Allen talked about working with the Robertson men from "Duck Dynasty" during his visit to "The Tonight Show." The guys will be guest stars on the season premiere of Allen's ABC show, "Last Man Standing," on Friday, September 20.

"They’re not what you think. They’re overwhelmed, obviously. The popularity of this show," Allen said. "They showed up, they’re getting there. A little stuffy. They wanted a private plane. Disney sent a crop duster.”

Of course, Allen was just joking about the Robertson's demands. He clarified that both Willie and Uncle Si were genuine guys, though they did seem a little nervous on a television set. It's understandable, though. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, this was their big acting debut.

According to TVLine, the guys will be playing longtime customers of the sporting good store Allen's character works for. The guys are preparing for a man-vs.-nature challenge. Who knows? If this goes well, maybe they'll come back for another guest spot.

Catch Willie and Uncle Si, alongside Tim Allen, on the season premiere of "Last Man Standing" on Friday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
