Jeff Daniels Emmys 2013: 'Newsroom' Star Wins Best Actor In A Drama

Jeff Daniels has won the Emmy for Outstanding Actor In A Drama for HBO's "The Newsroom." This is Daniels' first Emmy.

Daniels beat out Hugh Bonneville for "Downton Abbey," Jon Hamm for "Mad Men," Bryan Cranston for "Breaking Bad," Kevin Spacey for "House Of Cards" and Damian Lewis for "Homeland."

Season 2 of "The Newsroom" wrapped up earlier this month.
