Jeanne Tripplehorn: 'Success Is Doing What Makes You Happy'

'Success Is Doing What Makes You Happy'

Even successful actresses have the same problems as the rest of us -- when it comes to delegating, at least.

"Basic Instinct" and "Sliding Doors" actress Jeanne Tripplehorn joined Nancy Redd on HuffPost Live to share how she is making it work. Tripplehorn chatted about her relationship with her husband and how she sometimes struggles to "do it all."

"I wouldn't say I'm a control freak, but I do have trouble sometimes delegating," Tripplehorn said. "I try to be supermom, which sets you up for big disappointments."

Tripplehorn also shared how she defines success:

I think success is doing what makes you happy, and being able to do what makes you happy. If I wasn't going to be an actor, if I was going to find success in my life, it would be finding how I can earn a living... if you're going to spend that much time doing something, you should be able to enjoy it. I think that's success.
