Joseph Gordon-Levitt Reveals He Has A Girlfriend On 'Howard Stern'

Bad news for Joseph Gordon-Levitt crushers: The notoriously private star has finally opened up about having a girlfriend. While on "The Howard Stern Show" Tuesday, the "Don Jon" star admitted for the first time since, basically, his "3rd Rock from the Sun" days that he has a girlfriend, whom he met through "mutual friends."

A nosy Stern inquired further about the duration of their relationship, and whether or not it was love, but Gordon-Levitt refused to indulge the radio host.

"I have a girlfriend but I tend not to really like to talk about it in public. She is not in show business," Gordon-Levitt said. "The girl I'm with, she really doesn't want to be part of it. You can imagine not wanting to have that kind of scrutiny."

He added that he preferred keeping his personal life out of the tabloids for professional reasons. "I get up in movies and I play other people, so when the audience is watching me in movies, I don't want them thinking about me and who I'm dating," he said. "I want them to see the character, the story that I'm telling."

But what about those pesky gay rumors? In an interview with Out magazine earlier this month, Gordon-Levitt declined to address the rumors specifically, saying only: "That would be really tacky -- they would win if I had to clarify."
