Teyana Taylor Calls Rihanna A 'Cyber Bully' After Twitter Feud

Teyana Taylor Calls Rihanna A 'Cyber Bully'

Rapper Teyana Taylor labeled Rihanna a "cyber bully" after the two got into a nasty Twitter feud.

The digital drama started after Taylor posted a video of her singing Anita Baker's "Caught Up in the Rapture," Us Weekly noted. On Tuesday, Rihanna uploaded a video to Instagram featuring her hairstylist Yusef wearing a curly wig and baseball cap (two distinct marks of Taylor's signature style) singing the same song.

Taylor caught wind of Rihanna's diss and began tweeting her feelings, according to E! News. She allegedly responded, "petty is petty and shade is shade, bitch knew what the f--k she was doing." After the R&B songstress compared their net-worths, Taylor reportedly made a personal dig, tweeting, "90 million dollars & 90 million ni--as diving in that bitch box."

According to E! News, Rihanna responded: "I REFUSE to help your career…you will NOT get an @ from me! Not til you pay me! #nomorefreepormo #iRefuse."

These tweets have since been deleted.

On Wednesday, Taylor called in to Hot 97 to discuss the beef, saying she doesn't understand why it even started. She reasoned that the "Diamonds" singer does this "to everybody" and that her fans condone it, but "sometimes you're going to bark up the wrong tree."

"I do think she's a cyber bully. I really do," the 22-year-old, who signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label last year, said. "I think she's a cyber bully. I think she has dope music... She's a pretty girl. But that don't mean that you can just bully anybody. It don't work like that."

"At the end of the day, I work hard, you know I work hard, you know I have talent," she added. "My s**t is gonna pop regardless. You understand what I'm saying? This wasn't [a] publicity stunt. This wasn't trying to get free publicity. But, clearly I was on her brain for her to even be making fun of me."

Apparently, this isn't the first time the hip-hop artist and Bajan beauty have had issues. Last year, the two were rumored to be "enemies" after Taylor mentioned Rihanna in a Complex interview and her quotes got misconstrued, according to Global Grind. She later said she loves Rihanna and is only focused on her own career.

This time around, Rihanna got the last word.
