Kentucky Fake Field Goal: Kicker Joe Mansour Scores Touchdown Against Florida (VIDEO)

WATCH: Kentucky Fools No. 20 Florida With Fake Field Goal

Aiming to avoid a 27th straight loss to Florida, Kentucky got creative.

After No. 20 Florida scored on its opening drive, Kentucky's first offensive drive seemed to stall just outside the red zone. The Wildcats' field goal unit trotted onto the field as the coaches on the sideline dug deep into the playbook. With the team lined up for a 42-yard field goal attempt, holder Jared Leet took the snap and then flipped the ball over his shoulder to kicker Joe Mansour. The senior specialist caught the ball in stride and motored 25 yards for the game-tying touchdown.

"We executed perfectly what we practiced in practice," Mansour said after the game, via The Associate Press. "We went out on the field and got the perfect look from the defense. Got a perfect snap from Kelly Mason, got a perfect toss from Jared Leet and it just worked."

It certainly did. Unfortunately for Kentucky, many of the things that Florida did also just worked. The Gators rolled to a 24-7 win.
