CNN's Ashleigh Banfield To GOP Reps: 'Don't You Dare Put This Back On Me!' (VIDEO)

CNN's Ashleigh Banfield brawled with two House Republicans on the eve of a government shutdown on Monday.

Things were tense from the start when Reps. Marsha Blackburn and Dana Rohrabacher appeared on Banfield's show. In the most explosive section, Banfield bristled when Rohrabacher asked her to address a question about the shutdown to the Senate.

Banfield pressed Rohrabacher over why the House has decided to make this stand over Obamacare in grave and serious terms.

“You are acting, you're telling your listeners that we Republicans are holding this up, and the government is going to shut down. We have actually reached out to the Democrats with a compromise position—" he began.

“Congressman, that's not fair! Don’t you dare put this back on me,” Banfield fired back.

"Am I a guest on your show or are you here to give a tirade?" Rohrabacher said.

"You can't make something up!" Banfield said.

Banfield also confronted the two representatives about giving up their government salaries during the shutdown.
