Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros Cover 'I Saw Her Standing There' For 'Beatles Reimagined'

Hear The First Song From 'Beatles Reimagined'

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have taken up the always daunting task of covering the most famous band in music history. As part of "Beatles Reimagined," leader singer Alex Ebert (no, his name isn't Edward Sharpe) and company took up "I Saw Her Standing There," and the result is a fun little number that was inspired by taking in a show in Nashville (as many good things are).

The track, which premiered on Rolling Stone, is the lead single off of "Beatles Reimagined," a collection of covers that aims to familiarize younger audiences with the Beatles' songwriting.

Head over to Rolling Stone for more information on the project and Ebert's behind-the-scenes take on the recording of their contribution.
