While "American Idol" and "X Factor" fans are still furious of "The Voice's" Emmy win, Simon Cowell -- the creator of both "snubbed" shows -- claims he couldn't care less.

"[I] couldn't give a shit," Cowell told The Hollywood Reporter, adding, "The only thing I care about are the ratings [for my show]."

Nigel Lythgoe is another story, however
. The former "Idol" executive producer immediately took to Twitter to express his outrage.

"The X Factor" airs on Wednesdays at 8 p..m. ET on Fox; "American Idol" returns in January.
