Two Teens Arrested For Alleged Sexual Assault In High School Bathroom (VIDEO)

Teens Arrested For Alleged High School Bathroom Rape

Two teens have been booked for multiple sexual assault charges after a Southern California high school employee learned of an alleged rape that occurred on campus.

The school administrator, who works for Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, Calif. got wind of the assault Sept. 30 and immediately told campus police. The campus police officer then located the victim, a student at the school, and learned that the alleged assault occurred five days earlier, on campus during the evening hours.

The investigation was then turned over to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, who eventually arrested the suspects Tuesday. Their names will not be released because they are minors.

KTLA reporter Wendy Burch learned that the alleged assault took place inside a campus restroom, and that one of the suspects was arrested during the school day. The other teen was arrested at a residence. The attack, which students called a "rape" in the KTLA video above, has some at the school on edge.

"I'm afraid because I don't know anything about the situation," said student Carissa Coronado in the video above. "For me to just hear that a student was raped -- it's crazy because it scares me."

Authorities are still looking for tips on the case. Anyone with more information is encouraged to contact investigators.
