Jerry O'Connell Insists He Is Not A 'Man Whore,' Despite What Melissa Joan Hart Says (VIDEO)

Jerry O'Connell Insists He Is Not A 'Man Whore' On 'WWHL'

While Jerry O'Connell was on "Watch What Happens: Live" to promote his new sitcom, "We Are Men," he got a chance to address an accusation that he was a "man whore." The claim was made by Melissa Joan Hart in her upcoming memoir, "Melissa Explains It All." In the book, which Life & Style previewed, the "Melissa & Joey" star confessed to hooking up with O'Connell. It was then that she labeled him a "man whore."

Understandably, O'Connell didn't agree with the title. "I’m pretty sure we made out," he recalled. "I might be going back 15 years here. You know, I wasn’t selling my body for money. Isn’t that what a man whore does?"

O'Connell said that he remembered meeting at a party, and admitted that he was drinking pretty heavily. "I don’t remember specifics, but there’s a very good possibility that we mashed,” he said.

Readers can find out more about O'Connell, and other celebrity hookups for Hart, when her book hits shelves at the end of the month. At this point, O'Connell is hoping his show is still on the air. Ratings have not been strong, critics have not been kind, and even O'Connell doesn't seem confident.

He told Howard Stern, "Look, my shows get canceled very quickly," he said. "I mean, if I were a betting man...“

For now at least, "We Are Men" continues on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS. "Watch What Happens: Live" airs Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on Bravo.
