Miley Cyrus Responds To VMA Critics, Says Everything Was Completely Planned On 'Miley: The Movement' (VIDEO)

'Miley: The Movement': Cyrus Says VMAs Was Completely Planned

Miley Cyrus is on a full media blitz in anticipation of her new album release. Her latest project was a documentary special taking her fans behind the album -- as well as some of her other recent moves, like that controversial VMAs performance. "Miley: The Movement" featured Miley and her mother, Tish, explaining how calculated everything she does is.

In other words, everything seen on that stage at the MTV Video Music Awards was planned and it all went according to plan. "Anyone that’s ever said, ‘Where’s her mother?’ Right beside her," Tish said. "Through good, through bad.”

It's all party of Miley's strategy that she's calling a "movement." In fact, she's calling this whole transition of hers into adulthood a "movement." She doesn't like the word "transition." She says that she's still the same person. This is just a movement that she's on with her fans and her career.

Miley's album, "Bangerz," drops next week -- and she'll apparently feel like a loser until it's at #1 -- but fans can stream it for free right now in iTunes. And even though she said she's done with acting, so she can focus on music full-time, she's making an exception this weekend. Miley is both the host and musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." The media blitz continues!
