'Glee': Demi Lovato Debuts As Love Interest For Santana, And They're Already Adorable (VIDEO)

Demi Makes Her Debut, And It's Awesome

On Thursday night, Demi Lovato made her "Glee" debut as Dani, a waitress at the diner where Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera) work. When Kurt took a job at the diner as well, the gang vowed to stick it out in New York for two years no matter what happened.

Not only does this give them time to get their careers started, but it gives Santana time to explore her new relationship with Dani. After singing together, the two shared a kiss.

E! Online's Leanne Aguilera was all ab out Dani and Santana's budding romance. "Santana and Dani are almost too cute for words, and it's fun to finally see Santana act overly nervous and excited about a girl," she wrote. "It looks like Santani/Dantana (whichever you prefer!) are well on their way to being one of our new favorite couples."

Even better, Santana landed her first commercial, while Rachel nabbed the role of Fanny Brice on Broadway, which was originated by her idol Barbara Streisand. Hollywood Life's Emily Longeretta spoke for all Gleeks, writing, "We’re so excited!”

Although the episode was a happy one, next week will be tough: Episode 3 deals with the loss of Cory Monteith and the death of his on-screen character, Finn.

Watch the "Glee" gang say goodbye to Finn on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
