Ashley Judd And Estranged Husband Dario Franchitti Reunite After Houston Grand Prix Crash

Ashley Judd Rushes To Ex's Side After Car Crash

Ashley Judd put her marital problems aside after hearing the news of her ex's serious crash at the Houston Grand Prix on Sunday (Oct. 6).

Judd rushed to her estranged husband Dario Franchitti's side following the accident, which left him with a concussion, broken right ankle and two fractured vertebrae. Debris from Franchitti's high speed crash flew into the stands, injuring 13 fans according to the Associated Press. He was transported by an ambulance to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. The three-time Indy 500 winner underwent surgery on his ankle yesterday.

Judd, 45, and Franchitti, 40, announced their split in January 2013 after 11 years of marriage. Although the pair has yet to file for divorce, it is unclear whether they have officially reconciled.

"We have mutually decided to end our marriage," the couple said in a statement at the time of their separation. "We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed."

CORRECTION: The headline previously read, "Ashley Judd And Ex Husband Dario Franchitti Reunite After Houston Grand Prix Crash." We have changed "Ex" to "Estranged," as Judd and Franchitti are separated, but not yet divorced.
