Actress Salma Hayek dedicated an award from the Congressional Hispanic Institute this week to illegal immigrant "Dreamers," and then warned opponents of comprehensive immigration reform that the cost of their food may increase if Hispanics left the country.

According to the Washington Post, Hayek dedicated her award Oct. 2 to immigrants, Hispanic woman, "especially single mothers, and to illegal immigrant "Dreamers" who came to the United States as children. Hayek said the "Dreamers" "are the true inspiration for all of us."
