David Bowie may be 66, but that won't stop him from topping the charts.

Bowie has been named the top-selling artist in the United Kingdom among independent record stores for 2013. The chart, published by NME, is made up of sales of albums from approximately 100 independent record stores who participate in Record Store Day UK. Among the top were Daft Punk, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Queens Of The Stone Age.

Bowie's album, "The Next Day," released in March is keeping him at the top of the charts. The album is already set for reissue, that will include four new tracks. "The Next Day Extra" will be released in the U.K. Nov. 4 and in the United States Nov. 5.
