Rush Limbaugh: Jon Stewart 'Did His Best' While Grilling Kathleen Sebelius

Limbaugh Offers Rare Praise For Jon Stewart

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh had rare praise for Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," for his tough interview on Obamacare with Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

Limbaugh said Sebelius came off as "ignorant, misleading and totally incompetent" during the interview, in which Stewart challenged her on why individuals aren't able to delay Obamacare, even though businesses have been given that option. Stewart also admitted that he had broader concerns about what many saw as "incompetence" in Obamacare's implementation over the last week.

"Stewart did his best... she's friendly. She's from the regime. He's on their side," Limbaugh said. "But it got to the point that, even for his own credibility, he was not able to let this go."

Limbaugh gave credit to conservative commentators like himself, saying Stewart -- who Limbaugh called a "regime flunkie" -- borrowed his criticism from the "crazies."

“We're the 'crazies, but if it weren’t for us, Jon Stewart wouldn’t know that businesses are downsizing [due to Obamacare], because the places he goes for news are not reporting it," Limbaugh said.

Limbaugh said "it's great" Stewart joked that Sebelius may have been lying to him, saying Stewart's tough questioning signals a “transformation taking place that the regime didn't count on.” Limbaugh suggested conservatives benefitted from "a low-information audience" laughing at "an Obama bureaucrat's non-answers and lies."
