WTAE sports anchor Guy Junker was the bearer of bad news on Wednesday night as he had to recount the details of the Pirates' season-ending loss for viewers in Pittsburgh. But that didn't mean he was unwelcome in St. Louis.
As Junker detailed the Cardinals' victory over the Buccos in Game 5 of the NLDS, fans in St. Louis celebrated around him. One fan, with her hair dyed a shade of red that suggested she was a strong supporter of the home team, surprised Junker with an air kiss during his live broadcast.
