A bomb scare at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has reportedly halted departures from the airport's Terminal 2.
NBC Los Angeles first reported in a tweet on Sunday night that a possible "small explosion" had occurred at the airport:
#BREAKING: Authorities respond to #LAX; report of small explosion in Terminal 2. No known injuries. We are gathering details.

The same NBC outlet later reported that the LAPD bomb squad responded to a "possible dry ice bomb":
#BREAKING: LAPD bomb squad responds to #LAX Terminal 2 after possible dry ice bomb explodes in restroom. Full story on NBC4 News at 11 p.m.

ABC7 in Los Angeles described the reported restroom explosion as coming from "dry ice in bottle" and explained that there were no injuries from the incident. In the tweet, ABC7 reported that outgoing flights from Terminal 2 have been halted.
NBC Los Angeles' Gadi Schwartz, as well as the outlet itself, tweeted more details about the incident:
