16 Things Only Girls With Bangs Will Understand

16 Things Only Girls With Bangs Will Understand

Bangs aren't just a hairstyle, they're a way of life. No matter how you wear your fringe, it requires ultra-obsessive maintenance and an arsenal of specialty tools.

But as we well know, bangs grow out -- and fast. Here, we celebrate the ladies determined enough to make them last, and lament the hyper-specific problems that girls with bangs face on the regular:

When they're good, they're good.

When they're bad, they're really bad.

They never manage to stay put.

So sometimes, it's hard to see.

And sometimes you forget you have eyebrows.

The summer? The worst.

"You know who you look like? Zooey Deschanel."

And FLOTUS totally copied you.

Your hair NEVER looks good when you wake up in the morning.

Because they seem to take on a life of their own.

You need to do a bangs check before anyone takes your photo.

Because somehow, they act differently from the rest of your hair.

Dry shampoo is your best friend.

You're terrified of your forehead -- or, as Tyra calls it, your "fivehead."

But nothing is scarier than an unexpected rainstorm.

You want to just give up and grow them out, like, every other week.

But at the end of the day? You're like, "Who cares? I can't actually see 'em."
