Boehner Saying 'Sit Down' Is The Theme Of The Shutdown

The One Thing Boehner Can't Stop Saying

You may think that Speaker John Boehner has been a bit unreasonable throughout discussions of the debt ceiling, Obamacare and the Government shutdown, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. A closer analysis reveals that he's really only asked for one simple thing: for everyone to sit down.

Boehner's firm belief that sitting down is the key to problem solving isn't new. In fact, he has a track record of remaining seated for the sake of this nation. During the 2013 State of the Union address, Boehner refused to stand and applaud for much of the speech. Though it may seem unconventional, Boehner has proved that a sitting ovation is a much more sensible way to celebrate this country.

Skeptical about the power of sitting down? Watch the above video to see why Boehner's butt-down answer to America's pressing problems might just be the most genius thing anyone's come up with.
