'Sons Of Anarchy' D.A. Takes Off Wig, Moves Up Tara's Trial

District Attorney Patterson offered Tara immunity if she was willing to offer proof that SAMCRO was involved in guns on the latest episode of "Sons of Anarchy." Tara didn't take the deal, which led to a very strange response from Patterson.

She went into the bathroom and pulled off her wig. "Time to go hood sister," she said.

A few moments later, she ran into Tara in the hall with her new hair and said, "Tell your lawyer I’ll be moving up the trial date three weeks and I’ll be prosecuting the case myself. See you in court, doctor.”

But was that the only reason she took the wig off, or is she heading out to do something else? Zap2It's Chris E. Hayner had his own hopes for the move. "Please let her have dueling personalities," he wrote.

TV.com's Kaitlin Thomas was impressed with the aggressive timetable shift. "I assume moving up Tara's trial by three weeks hurt Tara's chances of finishing all the guardianship paperwork (because it's taking forever), and now that I've decided to just accept that Tara is trying to ditch Jax and the club, I like that she's in a tough spot," she wrote. "It's either go to jail and risk the kids hanging out around exploding biker bars, or flip on the club, OR take FULL immunity and give Patterson what she needs to take down the club for their Guns for Tots program.”

Patterson's quest to take down SAMCRO continues on "Sons of Anarchy," Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
