Meet the newly appointed spokeswoman for the University of Mississippi. Well, appointed by the Internet anyway.
Ole Miss student Shelby Herring is fielding congratulations on Twitter for a scene-stealing interview that has gone viral.
Herring, dubbed by some outlets as the "Ole Miss party girl," talked candidly about campus life before a home football game Oct. 12 against Texas A&M.
While some respondents gave manicured answers to an A&M film crew covering Ole Miss' Grove tailgating scene, Herring offers hilarious, no-holds-barred commentary on the school.
We'll give you just a few tidbits to whet your appetite for the video above. (You might also want to wet your whistle afterward.)
Shelby on the rah-rah-ness of it all: "I love school spirit, but let's not get me wrong, I wouldn't have school spirit without a couple vodka waters."
Shelby on academic standards: "Ole Miss, we may all have lower IQs ... I have a higher IQ than most people but ... well no, that's a lie."
"We never lose a party," Shelby declares.
AdWeek sees gainful employment in her future. "She's almost certainly being flooded with job offers as we speak."
The Big Lead sees ... a future Kardashian? "This Ole Miss coed needs her own reality show now."
We might actually watch that.
