If you didn't already have enough reasons to adore Rebel Wilson, here is yet another.
Wilson spoke with "Extra" about her real-life law degree -- yup, she's super smart in addition to being super funny -- and her attitude toward physical beauty. Turns out, the actress would like to reserve the right to not give a damn about her looks. She said:
I don't think I'm very vain. Even though I'm on a TV show, I don't really care what I look like that much. And I think that women out there should just be happy with how they look and they shouldn't really try to conform to any stereotype. Just be happy and hopefully healthy. You see other actresses who are like "Oh, I can't really eat much lunch today because I've got that scene in my underwear"... I'm a little bit chill. But you know, what you do need is stamina. I don't ever want to be too unhealthy because writing in a show, starring and producing, you need a lot of energy.
Plus, Wilson has never been one to shy away from using her body and other people's thoughts about it for comedic material. In September she told Hunger Magazine: “As long as I look like this, I’m going to make fat jokes," she said. "All comedians have to use their physicality, so I use my size."
Preach, girl. Preach.
