Soleil Moon-Frye Is In 'Total Denial' About Being Pregnant With A Boy

Soleil Moon-Frye has come a long way from "Punky Brewster."

Today, she's an author and entrepreneur with a new book called "Let's Get This Party Started," a guide to throwing the perfect celebration for your children, on shelves.

Moon-Frye has plenty experience to pour into the book as the mother of two daughters with a son on the way. During an interview with HuffPost Live's Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani, she was bouncing with joy over the new addition, but she admitted to being completely surprised by the gender.

"To be honest, I'm in total denial [about having a boy]," Moon-Frye said. "I thought for sure we'd have three girls. Even though the doctor tells me that I'm having a boy, I still don't quite believe it. So I think I'll have to see when the boy comes."

The good news is the gender doesn't matter in the slightest to Moon-Frye's daughters.

"They're so excited. They're like, 'If it's a girl, we're going to dress her up, if it's a boy, we're going to dress him up,'" she said.
