Mom, Kathy Sterner, posted this clip of her husband lip syncing his daughter's temper tantrum. "My 6 year old daughter had been in her room wigging out for about an hour, and there was no talking her down," she wrote in the description. So Dad decided to "lighten the mood."

Many responses to the video have been positive, ranging from "funniest thing I've seen in a long time" to "this absolutely works." The latter makes sense given that experts do tell parents to ignore or distract a child in the throes of a tantrum -- rather than trying to reason with her or him.

However, Mom made sure to leave a note on YouTube, in case anyone came out judging her parenting tactics -- or her daughter's temperament: "For the record, she's not typically a beast child - she's actually a pretty awesome little kid who was having a rough day."

Yup. Been there.
