Legendary singer Linda Ronstadt has been nominated to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, being the only Latin musician nominated for the spot.

Linda began her career performing in Mexican rodeos near her home in Tucson, then made it big, recording over 30 albums throughout her lifetime. Ronstadt, now 67, has severals albums en español, including the Grammy-winning Canciones De Mi Padre.

Ronstadt has come a long way from performing in the charreadas that started her career, but she has not forgotten where she came from . We wish her lots of luck with this nomination and hope she makes it to the Hall of Fame. To vote for who gets the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame spot this time around, please visit their official site.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated Ronstadt has one Spanish-language album. The Mexican star recorded several albums in Spanish, including "Más Canciones" and "Frenesí."
